Life is a long journey, and it comes with many challenges. These challenges come in many sizes, shapes, and forms, but it is important to understand that we can achieve anything we put our minds and efforts toward. Sure, the road might not be easy, but giving up rarely solves the situation for the better. Looking around in my community and among those communities I have resided in and observed throughout my lifetime, I found my share of challenges, and I [unfortunately] found my fair share of scapegoaters who always sought to point the finger and blame others when they could just solve their issues with a little time and effort.
Look in the Mirror!
Sometimes, we just need to a take a moment to look in the mirror. We need to WAKE UP! We need to be grateful for all of the blessings we currently have and continue to work hard towards our various positive goals in life. Time is simply too short to waste. Audrey Hepburn once said, “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible!” Difficult things are achieved all of the time; we just need to keep working to overcome the odds and leap over each hurdle. The power of the will is very strong, so USE IT! Great Emperor of France, Napolean [Bonaparte], reminds us that “impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools. “ So, let’s not be a fool.
Jodi DiPiazza – An Inspiring Story
Jodi is a young lady who, at age 11, has been battling autism for 9 years and continues to do so to this day. She works hard to understand those things that are easier for others to understand. Furthermore, her parents are very supportive and look for the best ways to help her reach her greatest potential. Sure, that road might be the more difficult one, but hard work, determination, and persistence pay off in the end. Jodi has found a great passion for music, and she was able to showcase her musical passion and talent for the world to see when she played piano and sang a duet with popular recording artist, Katy Perry!
