I am STILL SERVING!
While I may no longer wear the uniform, I take great pride in continued service to today's military servicemembers and yesterday's warriors! Through the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), I am able to serve and support warriors young and old.

Extending Service to Fellow Veterans & Partnerships
I have been fortunate to represent the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and veterans in various settings, at numerous impactful events, and beyond.
About the VFW
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1899 by veterans of the Spanish-American War and the Philippine Insurrection. Today, it is the oldest and largest organization of combat veterans in the United States of America. The VFW and its Auxiliary account for over 1.5 million members.
The VFW’s mission is to serve veterans, military families, and their communities. It provides support for veterans in a variety of ways, including helping them navigate the VA system, providing financial assistance for veterans in need, and advocating for policies that benefit veterans.
One of the most important roles of the VFW is to provide a strong voice for veterans in the political arena. The organization works tirelessly to influence policy decisions at the local, state, and federal levels to ensure that veterans are getting the care and support they deserve. The VFW’s advocacy efforts have led to significant improvements in veterans’ benefits, including increased access to healthcare, expanded education and training programs, and better mental health resources.
In addition to advocacy and support for veterans, the VFW also plays an important role in its local communities. The organization sponsors youth programs, promotes patriotism and civic responsibility, and supports a variety of community service projects. The VFW’s community outreach efforts help to build strong, vibrant communities and foster a sense of unity and pride among its members.
Membership in the VFW is open to veterans who have served in a foreign conflict or received a campaign medal for overseas service, as well as active duty military personnel, National Guard and Reserve members, and cadets and midshipmen at military academies. Membership in the VFW is a way for veterans to stay connected with other veterans, give back to their communities, and continue to serve their country in a meaningful way.
In summary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars is a vital organization that provides advocacy, support, and community outreach to veterans and their families. Its work helps to ensure that veterans receive the care and benefits they deserve, and that their contributions to our country are recognized and honored. Through its network of local posts and dedicated members, the VFW continues to be a powerful force for good in our communities and our nation.
